Are you happy with ipod? Why? - Help a victim of marketing iPod :)

Hello,

I did have an iRiver MP3 player IHP-140 with 40G and I really enjoyed it for few years. Suddenly out of the blue sky died on me. So I am thinking to get myself another MP3 player. Recently I tried Wolverine MP3 player with 120G, but it was a little bulky, so I did send it back.

I am thinking to get me the new Apple ipod 80G. I just wanted it for music and I want the 80G so it can hold all my music. I admit I am falling under the marketing of the ipod. Any store I go in there are tons of accessories for it, and that is really nice.

I would like to ask your kind opinion if you have any experience with ipod, are you happy with ipod, and if you have a second choice would you go for ipod again and why? Please do not hesitate to share any thought or ideas you have on this subject. I am going to get it either for my birthday or an x-mass gift at the end of November 2006.
